2019/2020 Season FAQ's

When is registration for tryouts?
Registration to tryout for the 2019-2020 season will open on September 1st and will close on September 18th.

What is the cost for Tryouts?
Pre-register for tryouts online by 9/18 for $10. Anyone NOT pre-registered will have to pay a non-refundable $20 walk-up fee.

When are tryouts for the 2019/2020 Season?
Saturday September 21
2026/2027/2028/2029 (3rd - 6th Grade) - 9:30am Check-in Tryouts 10am - 11:30am
2025 (7th Grade) - 11:30am Check-in. Tryouts 12p - 1:30p
2026 (8th Grade) - 1:30pm Check-in. Tryouts 2p - 3:30p

Sunday September 22
2023 (9th Grade) - 11:30am Check-in. Tryouts 12p - 1:30p
2022 (10th Grade) - 1:30pm Check-in. Tryouts 2p - 3:30p

What does the 2019/2020 Registration fee include?
The 2019/2020 Registration Fee Includes: Professional coaching, 3 tournaments (1 Fall, 2 Summer), 6 Winter Box Session, FTK Training Camp, weekly team practices, FTK custom helmet (2021-2027 only), team equipment bag (2021-2027 only), practice pennie, reversible game jersey and game shorts.

What does FTK Girls Registration include?
The girls fall registration will include 4 team practices, a pennie and 1 fall tournament

How many teams will FTK have?
Teams will be created based on HS graduation year. If there is not enough at a single graduation year, 2 graduation years will be combined.

Will FTK have National Teams again?

How are the FTK National Teams selected?
FTK National teams will be selected from players on the regional teams based on their performance at Tryouts, Training Camp and the tournaments. After the second summer tournament players will be invited to join a Regional or National team to play 1 or 2 additional tournament(s) (additional fee)

What is the difference between the Regional and National teams?
FTK National team players are selected from the Regional players. National Teams will play 1 (or more) tournaments in the Northeast..

How many players per team?
At FTK we limit roster spots on each team in order to maximize playing time, in-game development for each player and value to the parents. We are fully committed to developing your player to the best of his ability.

What nights are practice for FTK?
Fall 2019 - FTK will have 4 practices on Sunday, alternating between Chappapeela Sports Park (North) and Wentwood Playground (South)

What is the 2019/2020 Schedule for the FTK?

Is there a separate registration for the National Teams?
Upon being chosen for the FTK National Team, invitees will be asked to complete a separate registration.

Is there a separate fee for the National Teams?
Yes, there will be an additional fee for our Youth National Teams to attend selected tournaments.

What if you can't make all the tournaments?
Any conflicts will be handled on a case-by-case basis after tryouts and teams are selected.
